I would kiss you on your forehead,
And if possible,
On your pretty lips,
I would explore your lovely body
with my fingertips.

But that would be wrong

The walls we build, the doors we close.

What wouldn't I do to light
your face with a smile
but you lock me out,
no place in your heart, even for a while!!

For you hold your cards
too close to your chest
Not letting anything cause a
chink in your armor!!

I see you clamp it down,
hold the locks too tight
I try to pry it open
you put up a good fight.

I am left knocking at your door
you see my smile,
I show the world.
but not the rain that drowns me.

Miles and Miles

Miles and miles
separate our body,
but the distance between
our heart,
is infinitesimal.
They are conjoined!

And the bright future
I see for us,
makes the darkness of
this never ending wait
a little easier to bear!!

Time,it has a habit
of passing by
sometimes slowly,
but steadily
at its own leisurely pace!

For although,
miles and miles
separate our body,
I hope this distance
brings us a little closer!!!
