Greed

For moments that are happy
or whether they are sad
they are all in fleeting,
this life, it ain't that bad.

Through both ups and downs
through joy and sorrow
I learnt it a long time ago,
there is always a tomorrow

Some choices, catastrophic,
some moment of pure bliss
what is more important,
is to, always, be at peace,

For we seem not to differentiate
between our wants and need
always wanting more
overwhelmed by our greed

And nothing fills the pit,
nothing is ever enough.
And we still wonder,
why we have it so rough.
