The day is so downcast
but i don't feel the blue
I am smiling to myself
just thinking about you
And what if it is raining?
my days are still bright
cause no matter how dark are days
you are my beacon of light
you are the silver lining in my cloud
a gust of breeze in stifling days
you are my sunshine
that pierces through this haze
and the warmth of your hug
that lingers on my skin
makes even this cold cold rain
feel warm!
