Time

Just ranting guys
You have been warned.

Don't you find it extremely surprising that we ALWAYS have time to do things we dislike/hate. Jobs for example, or homework, some stupid errand that our family members expect us to do, visiting insane relatives/friends who do nothing but find fault in you, who are not at all important to you.

On the other hand, we hardly seem to have time for things we love. Playing the guitar, just taking a stroll with a favorite person, reading a book, doing nothing, pursuing a hobby. In fact, if we all didn't have smartphone/mp3 players, we wouldn't have time even for our music.

We complain we are busy, get stressed, take medication as the hectic life takes it toll on our fragile bodies, distance ourselves from people we genuinely care about.

You get the drift.

I understand that the things we hate/dislike to do has to be done, or else it will be a source of constant stress for us again. But I have always wondered how calm our lives would be if we put in the same amount of effort to do things we like, than to do things we don't.
After all the easiest way for you to be sad is trying to please everyone no?
Putting your needs behind everyone else's?

I don't think it is fair that you burn yourself out just because you are hardworking and responsible.

Relax a little. Take some time off for yourself. Easier said than done, but hey , you don't know unless you try.
